1. Do not save any new data on the formatted SD card. Some people intend to store new information on the memory card after being formatted, as there is no used space on the formatted SD card. It is not correctly, however. Those new files may overwrite the original files which are lost for a moment. Those lost contents can not be got back and are lost forever once they are overwritten by new information even under the help of data recovery tool.
2. Do not format the formatted memory card one more time. Reformatting can not find back the lost files from the SD card which has been formatted already. On the contrary, it will damage the memory card the second time. Reformatting is not equal to unformatting, and it may reduce the opportunity that the lost information could be restored by data recovery program.
3. Do not save the data recovery tool on the formatted SD card. You will be asked to choose the location to store the data restoration program when launched it after downloading. You should not save it on the disk which the lost information stored previously. What’s more, the system will prompt you if you do so.
4. Do not store the retrieved information on the formatted memory card. After clicking on the recover button, you will be asked to select the location to save files to be restored. At that time, it is better to save them on one of the computer disks firstly. You can remove them to the memory card when make sure all needed have been retrieved successfully.
